Part Time Healthcare Adminsitrator

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of occupational health services for a Healthcare Administrator to join their onsite team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation where you'll play a key role in ensuring occupational health services are delivered efficiently while supporting clinicians, clients and employees throughout the process. this role is working Wednesday - Friday, onsite at their Derby site. 

This is a varied position that combines administration, case coordination and customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities and delivering an excellent service.

Please note: Due to the location of the site, you'll need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

The Role

As a Healthcare Administrator, you'll be responsible for coordinating occupational health cases from referral through to completion, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing clinician diaries and booking appointments
Handling telephone enquiries and responding to emails
Uploading clinical notes and maintaining accurate records
Supporting clinicians with a wide range of administrative tasks
Meeting and greeting visitors on site
Liaising with clients, employees, GPs, specialists and external providers
Coordinating referrals for treatments and further assessments
Processing medical reports in line with GDPR requirements
Maintaining accurate records across multiple internal systems
Supporting the Health Surveillance team when required
Escalating any issues that may impact service delivery

About You:

We're looking for an organised, proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding administrative support.

You'll ideally have:

Previous administration or customer service experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively under pressure
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience using Microsoft Office 365
A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information
The confidence to work independently and use your own initiative
Previous experience within healthcare, occupational health, medical administration or another regulated environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
